A 28-year-old man has been missing for five days in the city of General Roca, Río Negro province, and authorities are intensively searching for him. The man is Enzo Leandro de Oro, from Mendoza, who was last seen on Sunday, December 7, in Paso Córdoba, where he was running a business. According to information from local media accessed by the Argentine News Agency, personnel from the Naval Prefecture were navigating the waters of the Negro River, while local police officers were conducting land searches. Meanwhile, a fisherman recently reported seeing a body but did not inform the authorities, instead mentioning it at a local establishment. For this reason, Commissioner José González, head of Regional Unit II, stated: “This person approached but did not leave his phone and did not provide any other data.” The victim's backpack was found by neighbors near the river and handed over to Detachment 166. Teams from the Rural Brigade, Mounted Police agents from the Regional unit, and firefighters from Roca and Allen were conducting a joint operation with police boats and divers, also using drones, in an effort to locate the missing man. Enzo is Caucasian, of slim build, has brown eyes, is 1.65 meters tall, and was wearing a blue swimsuit with white anchors and black espadrilles.
